Pathex Filter Media

Designed to meet the need for effective, environmentally friendly filter media to both clean and purify water, Pathex removes particulate matter and reduce bacteria – without chemicals or harmful byproducts – in industrial, stormwater and health care applications.

At its core, Pathex is a high-efficiency sand filter. Unlike traditional sand filters, however, Pathex is EPA registered and proven as an effective way to kill and control bacteria without using or releasing harmful chemicals. The same technology can be applied to larger filter media material (under brand name PathShield) to handle higher flow rates.

Pathex is the only water filter media available that holds both EPA-registration and NSF/ANSI Standard-61 certification. 

Our filter media products use only durable, non-corrosive components to prolong the lifespan of your equipment and reduce maintenance needs. Because our filter media kills bacteria on contact, the sand filter will last much longer than traditional sand beds without hardening or channeling.
